I visited their HQ yesterday to hand over the cheques from the last quiz, and they asked me to publicise the following info, to let everyone know what they do....so here goes...and please be as generous as you can...

Probably a silly question - how is the £1 to be paid? Is a cheque still okay or is it okay to stick a pound coin in the envelope - I used to lecture my late father for doing this.

I would definitely do these quizzes if I could pay by PayPal (adding cost of stamp to cover fees) and have the quiz emailed.

wolf63 - yes cheques are to be paid to M.A.G.P.A.S - I find pound coins too thick to send , sometimes tape 5x20p to card but have been known to disappear in transit occasionally.

A cheque is probably the best way, and safest...but many send £1 coins. I havent had any go missing but strongly advise that you tape it securely to someting then put it into return envelope, fold that and then enclose in the sending envelope it works well. Sorry do not have a paypal account, but its not too hard to send a coin and I try and return it the same day.
Shame if it puts people off but I dont have the technology !!!
