Remembering Meredith
18 Answers
Having started a few Amanda threads in my time, I think it's respectful today to remember Meredith and her family.
It was four years ago today, on the All Saints Day holiday in Italy, that the Kerchers lost their daughter.
My heart goes out to them, and to all parents who have lost children.

Have you been brainwashed by the media into going for remote meaningless mourning? "We need to remember..." ? How can you remember someone you never knew cared nothing for? It cheapens and makes a mockery of true care and concern.
I know she has Um-m, but we should not be accused of showing false concern when an anniversary as such comes up. I nearly always remember the dates on both high profile cases and my local cases. For instance, a young girl was tragically killed in a car accident about a mile from my house - I pass the crash site everyday, and spare a thought for her family, everyday - this is not meaningless mourning, it's genuine sadness for those left behind - and I didn't know the girl.
