I've never heard it, but could it mean that someone has got dressed up, but the event has been cancelled or the friend they were going out with did not turn up?
It's probably based on the girls in Hugh Hefner's Playboy clubs. They wore very revealing costumes which also involved rabbit-ears on their heads and little fluffy white rabbit-tails on their bottoms. The idea was, of course, to titillate their male customers. My guess, therefore, is that only a woman would talk about "getting all bunnied up", meaning that she made herself look as sexually provocative as possible for the benefit of some male friend.
