Hi AB friends, my son and daughter-in-law have got 2 kittens one has just been spayed I think she is about 6 months the other is about 4-5 months. They are very placid with my son, but, my poor daughter -in-law is being scratched to pieces, the minute she opens the bedroom door in the morning they go into attack mode, they literaly jump at her, they are like wild cats. any advice cheers WHF
What happens if your son opens the door in the morning? Is it always your daughter in law? Do they have access to stimulating playthings in the room? Young cats need a lot of stimulation and learn a lot from play with other cats and with humans. Is it possible for your son to let them out and your daughter in law to feed them and then let them get rid of some excess energy with toys and playthings but not too much rough play with humans as this encourages them to think it's fun and acceptable! Then perhaps your d-in-l could spend some quiet time with them while they're relaxing and less likely to be aggressive. Hope it works out, kittens are a delight but are completely evil little monsters at times, lol. (I wouldn't be without a cat though)
I've a 5 month old kitten and first thing in the morning she's evil personified, think its the "yayyyy, someone's up"excitement pushes them over the edge. Mine scales walls, curtains, dive bombs the dog from the back of the sofa and runs, at 100 MPH from room to room growling, and yes, I did say growling.
Kittens are are the devils children masquerading as cute little bundles of fur. Trade them in immediately for a pair of German Shepherd puppies, twice as cute and as loyal and faithful as anybody could ask for.
