Gently warm the left over wax in a pan, over another pan, with water boiling gently in it. Then when you have the wicks you can make candles by dipping the wick in the hot wax time and time again until it builds up.
Zeuhl, it can be used to design any candle. You can use more than one pan of wax to vary the layering of the colours too.
Yes you can suspend the wax over a cyliner, square tub, etc for a different efect.
The wax needs to be about to skin over before you dip the string i otherwise it will just run off or melt any existing coating.. If you want to make a mould try using a piece of copper water pipe with a cap used as a push on base. you can easily pull off the cap so that you can push the candle out when the wax has set.
Does it mean it doesn't too long for the wax to 'set' so I can do that with my hands without getting tired or will I be able to get some kind of 'wick holder' to hold it in place?
