help trouble wit lads

well where shall i start first of all im 18  ok ive got trouble wit lads, last week i got numbers of two lads that i work with

1 of them is a really cool mate and we have been working together for 8 mnt now, he has a gf but he does flirt alot with me and anyone would think we were going out, he gave me his number coz he said he wants to keep in touch wit me after i leave,  which was fine wit me but now he has been txting me everyday which again i dont mind but i dont really want to stir up trouble between him and his gf.

the other lad i didnt no at all but he gave me his number, i didnt txt him but he kept asking me to txt him and made me give him my number. i didnt mind this either and he made it clear that he wanted to go out wit me but i sed i wanted 2 b mates and he is happy with that but then i found out that the same day he txt me he was txting another girl and saying the exact same to her .

i was a bit shocked but i really like him as a mate and dont no what to do about it

should i carry on talking to them both

I'd carry on talking to them but tread carefully the last thing you want is an angry gf on your case and as the other one play him at his own game.

Sarah*, let me assure you that this is normal behaiviour for most men at that age. Boys/men of that age spread their net widely and will try to catch as many as they can. It has been done from time immemorial and anyone who says the opposite is being miserly with the truth. At your age you will learn to weed out the gamers from the serious ones, you will learn with experience. Let it be a learning process for you and enjoy it while it lasts. Just dont do anything rash and dont neglect your studies and your family.

Dont you think it shouldnt matter if the 2cnd bloke is txting other girls?  You arent exclusive and you are txting another bloke anyway!  Be wary of the guy with gf, if he does it behind her back he might behind yours....

sarah don't let him see that it's bothering that he's texting someone else, you're not together so you can both tx whoever you like at the end of the day. If you like him tell him. I would just stay friends with the bloke with the gf and cool it a bit. Good luck darlin!!!

The stupid thing is that even 8 years ago this problem wouldn't exist as text wouldn't.

I know there's a lot to be said for texting, but...

As sponge said, it's not like you're not texting other guys so why shouldn't the second one also text other girls.  And as for the first one - steer well clear, if he can't play fair with his own girlfriend then if he were to dump her for you then what's to say he's going to treat you with any more respect?

Again, Dom Tuk having beaten me to the point, this is normal behaviour for many boys/men - I was lucky, I've been with my boyfriend 3 years from 16 to 19 now and he's completely different (and yes, I do realise they all say that until he cheats, so humour me) - but I know more who play around than are actually serious at your/mine/our age...

i really dont want to lose my friendship with the first guy becuse we do get along quite well but i will be careful with what i do and say to him just in case and with the second guy

well i can say i was shocked that he was txting other  girls the same messages as me but i dont fancy him so i think ill just be nice and friendly and if he ask me out again ill remind him what a player he is and that i dont do players

and i dont really mind him txting other girls it just shocked me that he was messin with us at the same time and im not really use to be messed around with
