Well, there's the song "Brown eyed girl" by Van Morrison.

People talk about someone being someone's "Blue eyed boy" which I THINK (but I'm not sure) is the same as/similar to "apple of their eye".

misslips when I seen "different colour eyes", I thought you meant each eye was different a bit like David Bowie's eyes DOH! Folk speak about travel on the "red eye"  a (usually overnight) long journey wi not much chance of sleep.
