Linebacker and defensive end are positions played in American football. Don't understand the "talking" part, though.

I think they are talking (and fat) because slim line backers are those that do the running

Surely it means "talking about" "or "as a an example" since linebackers weigh on average 16 1/2 stone or 235 pounds and defensive ends are heavier and women who weigh that may be obsese (according to the speaker).
