Buxton Mountain Rescue Quiz 4.
6 Answers
Hi everyone. Just like to give a friendly reminder of this quiz on sale and would like to add that in addition to helping the Mountain Rescue Team, I also pass on all my used postage stamps to the reg'd Charity 'Hearing Dogs for Deaf People', who sell the stamps to make money for the training of these wonderful dogs, so for those who apply and return by post you are also helping this cause. Thanks once again for your support. Please see link below for full details of the quiz.

She obviously lives around the Boston area. She let me have dates and places of events where she will be and the Hospital was where I last saw her. She came with a gentleman & his hearing dog to our Brownie unit. The Brownies really enjoyed the talk & demonstration.
I will re-post when I can give you more info.

Hi quinie, Copy of email which contains information re stamps as you will see she really appreciates the efforts.
Hello Gill
Thank you for your e-mail.
You are a lovely lady for doing this. Yes, of course, you may give them our address. It is 12, Delfield Road, Boston, Lincs. PE21 7ED.
All the stamps should have a border of 1/4" all the way round or 1/2 cm (which-ever you prefer).
I then sort out all the stamps before they are sent off to the dealer who gives Hearing Dogs money, so raising vital funds.
PLEASE ASK WHO-EVER SENDS STAMPS TO INCLUDE THEIR ADDRESS OR e-mail address OR PHONE NUMBER, so I can thank them.
This really is a lovely thought on your part and very much appreciated.
All the best.

Thanks quinie, I know she will appreciate whatever you send on to her. It certainly is a worthwhile cause. I myself wear hearing aids and I think I can understand the difficulties if someone is totally deaf. It is so frustrating not to be able to hear normally not just for the hearing impaired person but for family also.
The details are there now for anyone else who may like to give their used stamps.
