dairy free icecream

I asked for dairy free icecream in Morrisons two weeks ago as I had never seen any in there, today I went in and there it was, only vanilla mind, its swedish glace icecream and quite a bit cheaper than what I have paid in heath food shops, so they do listen after all, so if those of you on dairy free diet buy it they will hopefully do other flavours as well.

Try a sorbet and be done with it - dead simple to make, cecil, as longas you have an icebox.

i dont understand how ice cream can be dairy free, That's like asking for dairy free butter, or nut free peanuts

Ask them if they will stock the chocolate flavour too cecil.
I don't normally like choc ice cream but this is delicious.

Swedish Glace is no great shakes on its own but it goes well with fruit and quite acceptable laced with Cointreau.

sobet is not icecream though, and icecream can be made with soya milk, a fresh cream like elmlea is also available, also cream made with oats which is very similar to fresh cream, its just a matter of finding them, which was the purpose of my post.
