Can anyone help me solve this??.

well "losing your rag" springs to mind or "don't lose your rag" but I don't see how it fits the numbers

It might be two names , e.g.Bonnie and Clyde or the 3 letters could be "for",or "the"

WOW, that came from the left field ,if you'll excuse the analogy, ibut it's possible, does it have anything to do with bandanas or maybe the Barmy Army!! Thanks anyway for opening up a new line of possibilities.
