Further to the discussions on yesterdays page - can I comment on this - we (Scotland) Ireland and Wales have our own anthems - so why does England use God Save the Queen, when it is the BRITISH anthem? What do you say Wharton, fellow countryman and possible neighbour!!!

To be honest, I've always thought the Scots are the least vocal when singing their anthem. I don't know if it's something to do with the acoustics at Murrayfield or what but they just don't seem to generate the noise and passion of the others, IMHO.
