Mad Over Fifties Club

Come on in! Nungate Towers is open for another meeting of AB's Mad Over Fifties! With Queenie and Best Beloved away in Cardiff it's been a struggle to get things organised for tonight's meeting.
As we have another lovely summmer evening, we'll be having most of tonight's meeting out of doors, the fountains are throwing up huge jets of water, all over the gardens the fairy lights will be lighting our evening, the maze is open (a guide is available) there are rowing boats down at the lake, and a marquee is set up on the east lawn, where we have a delicious buffet all set up. Tonight the Tailcock will be the Lost Kitty, named in honour of Queenie's little ginger cat Henry who has been wandering around the Towers like, well, a lost cat! His companion Max is in the cattery (don't ask) and he is missing his human Mummie and I just won't do, despite me putting the grand prix on the tv so he could look for her in the crowd .... (after Barca played of course) For those who wish to remain indoors the hot tub is bubbling away and the mini bar stocked, the minstrels will be on hand to play their usual madrigals and toccattas, and of course all the usual amenities are available to be enjoyed by our members. Our favourite local band The Tone Deafs will be playing in the marquee, and we also have as a special treat, a string quartet playing Mozart's greatest hits in the grotto, (follow the path by the lake, and on past the old oak tree carry on and it's on your left just by the path leading to the beach)
Sadly Queenie had some bad news during the grand prix as her favourite rider came off in a nasty collision and had to be taken to hospital with a suspected broken collar bone - I'm sure she'll get over it, as will he!
So come on down everybody and have a lovely evening!
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter here
Carriages at midnight.
