wo hoo ancestry will now allow you to add the matching spouse on their transcribed index for the gro marriages. that means if someone else comes along they can see who the right choice os from the list you get when you hover over the name of the person you searched, splendid, i am going to work at adding all from my direct line, it avoides having to correct people, that's arrogant but i don;t care lol

That will save some time. I usually have to write all the possibles down and go into the next census`s with each surname to find the right one, especially when its the female side Im looking for

yes that's what i do to eliminate, but this needs people to know they can do it, so far the ones i am adding are pretty much the only ones on each page of the transcribed index, but it's a start i guess, in future i shall fill it in as i go along
