and am sick of paying through the nose for a little badge type thingy, from Hobbycraft, saying "Daughter" "Mum", "Son" and so on. £1.29p a go.
Bear in mind I am not that good with comps, is there any way I can make and print off my own? TIA

You could use a site like this (I don't know it, I just googled)

Thanks for trying Boxtops, it says not Mac compatible :(
Do you mean a sticker? Not having a Hobbycraft here I'm not sure what you're describing.

If it is a sticker, why not just ger clear labels - remembering to e sure you get laser ones for laser printers (and make sure that you get suitable for colour or mono printers as required) or ones for inkjet.

I know that Avery do them (or did, it's been a while since I bought clear ones).

As for software, you can print labels from any program. Why not download Open Office - is free and is mac comparible. Then just play with different fonts - and there are loads of free fonts on the internet, again mac compatible.
I used to buy card making stuff from the shopping channel QVC - check out their website qvc uk or something like that - just type qvc into google or whatever you use and just make sure you get the British site and not the American one. There's lots of craft making stuff on the site (try under the heading homes and leisure and click on craft and see what turn up

Thanks for the replies so far, I will explore all avenues suggested.
I just want to be able to print off little rectangles, with ie "Sister" "Mum" on them, then I intended to run a thin border of glue round, then add some glitter, or embossing powders, and cut out.
