Archers Catch Up

I've missed 2 full weeks (prior to this week) of the Archers and am listening to the omnibus now. Can anyone just fill me in on the Matt Lillian situation? Anything else critical happened?

Where do I start !

Lillian had a fling with Paul, Matt's half brother.

Matt found out but didn't tell Lillian that he knew.

Paul died and Lillian was upset.

Matt made her go to the funeral with him, still not letting on he knew.

Matt and Lillian went to Montenegro on holiday, despite Lillian not really wanting to at all.

Matt then told Lillian that he had known all about her affair with Paul all along.

Big row.

Lillian comes home to Ambridge without Matt.

Matt strikes up an unlikely friendship with a Russian property developer and takes off to St Petersberg.

Meanwhile, Brenda finally walks out on Lillian and Amside, and goes off to St Petersberg to help Matt.

Lillian nearly has nervous breakdown trying to manage Amside without Matt and Brenda.

Listen tonight at 1915 on Radio 4 Extra for this continuing story of simple country folk !

By the way, up until a few days ago, nobody in Ambridge had ever heard of Montenegro, let alone go there on hols !

Prudie...I am sure you know this but just in case ::::

The Ambridge Extras are broadcast twice a week but the "omnibus" ie both episodes are broadcast after the Sunday night regular episode of The Archers, at 19:15. So switch over to Radio 4 Extra quickly tonight.

On the strength of tonight's Omnibus, no you don't. Complete drivel. If anybody thinks Matt would be taken in by such patent nonsense, than they are better scriptwriters than I am !
