Difficult to know what category to put this question into but I usually have success with my friends in the crossword section so here goes:
When I was a child and acting somewhat lethargic when something needed to be done my Mother used to say; "come on, jump up and jig weasels" which meant for me to get a move on. Can anyone please tell me the origin and/or usage of this expression?
