I have seen an app which has all the British birds and their songs on it, but don't know its name. There are quite a few available - would someone point me in the direction of the best, please. One which has a picture of the bird, and its song playing at the same time.

Birds of Britain app on iPhone fits the bill. (no pun intended). Don't know if it's available on Android.
