When oh when are we going to get some much needed rain? Its beyond a joke now. The ground is like concrete, the water butts been empty for ages and the pond level keeps going down and down.

Its rained for the last several days here, today is nice and sunny though so my laundry is all out on the line :)

Where are you georgiesmum? I'm desperate here in East Sussex, ground rock hard and on a water meter!
We have had non stop rain all morning the patio is under water.
Raining here in Notts at the moment,not heavy but steady.We Brits are amazing,it rains and we complain its too wet, it doesn't rain for a couple of days and we complain it's dry.

east Anglia getting a good hammering right now, showers over into soithern Lincs, and the northern home counties .... bits of Norfolk look horrible just now

Im here in the south -east. We havent had rain for weeks. Im on a water meter too. Grass is like straw, water butts been empty for a while now and pond level just keeps going down and down. Garden is really suffering. They keep promising us rain but it never gets to us.

Paddywak, its more than a few days since we had rain, its weeks and weeks.!
Come to Suffolk then! Gutters overflowing and caused flood in my conservatory earlier,yuk.
Must have poured down during the night here in the North East -Delphiniums practically lying down but nice and sunny now. Nice if it could do it that way more often-rosy

We've had rain on and off over the past few days here in Devon. Nice at the moment though.

We were promised rain here yesterday but it missed us yet again.
It's raining now here - but in this corner, our weather's often the same as Pas de Calais, not the rest of Kent.
