** F1 Spoiler Alert For Anyone Watching B B C**

Trying to make this easier not to view for any fans watching highlights presently showing on BBC 1.
Hamilton Wins U S A Grand Prix.
Despite not gaining pole in qualifying, Hamilton once again showed his superior class and driving skill with a stunningly ballsy move to take the lead on lap 24, from which he drove majestically to victory.
He looks odds-on to take the title from here becasue as has been the case for most of the season, whenever Lewis takes pole he gets the job done and goes on to win the race. When he doesn't, he still puts Rosberg under such pressure that he either forces a mistake or produces that one spark of genius, after which he goes on to be top of the podium. It has rarely been the opposite.
So where are the other(Rosberg fans) ABers who've been very, VERY quiet of late whilst Lewis has been sweeping all before him since overcoming his bad luck and reliability issues?
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts, observations and comments since Hamilton has hit this purple patch.

I'm a fan of both drivers (and Alonso). Rosberg is a very good driver IMHO, but Hamilton has just that little bit extra, and is cooler under pressure, which is what makes all the difference.
Providing there are no more Mercedes mechanical glitches, and cowboy drivers (Maldonado please note) don't litter the track, then Hamilton will undoubtedly get the Championship this year.
P.S. Grosjean was pretty gross towards the end of the race, leaving the track corner after corner.

Lurking in the background , is this double points in the last race .
It would not be right if Rosberg was to win the title ; when Hamilton so far ,has won 6 more races than Rosberg .
Let's hope that there are no reliability issues for either driver for the remaining two races - we want to see the title being won purely on driver performance for the final two races .
I must say that there was an air of inevitability from Rosberg , when he stated that - it ' sucks' when asked about the race

Seriously? Actually, you're right. He's been so lucky in winning 10 races, 4 in a row and unbelievably lucky to have a team mate who prevents him from putting in a faster lap at Monaco, whines to the team when he won't let him past and takes him off the track when he can't get past him.
He's lucky that he's got all that talent with which to overcome such a scheming, brattish, conniving 'team mate', eh?

The ultimate irony would be to see Lewis run Nico off the track in the last race in true Senna/Prost style, but given the way he's driven through adversity this season I fully expect him to stick it to Nico in the best way possible....
showing Nico his rear slicks and a red hot exhaust, disappearing into the distance.

that works..... Uk get's more Poles than Germany does these days as well... I'll get me coat ;0)
It's same on the BBC, those dead against Lewis fail to see how strong he's been going down "it's all the car" road, crux is someone has to drive the thing and Lewis is doing that far better than his team mate.
The telling comments on Sunday on Sky were there, when Brundle interviewed Rosberg he talked about " the settings have a massive effect on the car" and "it took me a while to settle, get my rhythm with the settings etc etc.... Odd as Kravitz pointed out, he's been a shadow of the earlier part of the season when his radioman in the pit was telling him all the right settings...... go figure
