It's that time of year when you find out that your friend's husband supports Wales, because "my great grandfather was Welsh, so I have Welsh heritage going back three generations"

So being born in the Home Counties, 12.5% Welsh, and 87.5% English, makes you more Welsh than English?

You wouldn't want a Welsh person doing your accounts!

Or do they have a different system of maths for people with a Welsh ancestor?

On that basis, I think most of the population of Sussex should be supporting France.

Although, if I'm honest about it ... in a little wave of patriotic fervour ... I might have been swayed by OG mentioning that Wales are the underdogs.
