Serious Accident

A man lost both ears in a road accident. When he regained consciousness the surgeon said he needed two new ears but the hospital only had one available. However all was not lost as by chance a pigs ear was in stock so the patient agreed to take both ears. A few weeks after the operation the surgeon saw the patient to ask how he was getting on. The patient said that the human ear was pretty good but with the pigs' ear he was getting a lot of crackling.

i would have thought that if you are walking round with a pig's ear on the side of your head then getting " a lot of crackling" would be the least of your worries.
