Ok...I'll not beat around the bush. I'm currently doing my regional work. I'm not sure if I'm exploited as per. This is my situation.

I get up at 7am every day...and get to my room at 8pm most nights. I work 7 days a week. No days off and have so the last 5 weeks. I basically do anything asked. I haven't had a single lie in the 5 weeks I've been here. I don't get any set lunch breaks or time off for lunch. I do get my lunch but some days they forget. I'm very underpaid and I get 250 dollars a week for working the 7 days a week. That's 125 pounds a week. I'm not sure if I should leave and move onto the next thing or stay here for the sake of another 8 weeks and get it done so that I have this regional work done.

You might need to explain what you mean by 'regional work'. What sort of work is it? Are you in the US? Most people on here in the UK although we do have at least one from Canada

That works out at £1.50 per hour! The minimum wage in the UK is over £7 per hour.

Some internships/apprentice schemes in the UK pay well below the minimum wage. Trainee teachers, for example, can also work for almost nothing during their PGCE year

Guess it's a other 8 weeks when you think of it and other people may have it worse.
