Jarnold is right, it's from the British version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. The exact context is that the presenter holds out a cheque for the amount of money that the contestant has won, saying something like "this is a cheque for �64,000. You can take this home with you right now if you want to, but we don't want to give you that!", meaning that he'd prefer to let the contestant answer the next question correctly and take home a bigger cheque instead.
