Possibly the San Antonio Spurs basketball team:

before the War - there were so many Eastern European refugee doctors at the Accident Hospital in Brum that one part of the doctors mess was called
" The Polish Corridor "
(The Nazis were trying to auppress the real polish corridor at this time)
