Anti-Iran diplomatic briefings seem to have started already

Have others noticed how there seem to be daily news items and briefings from the UK and USA governments against Iran. Accusations (with no proof) that they are helping the suicide bombers (defies logic that, the Iranians who are shias have got what they wanted, control of Iraq by the shia peoples). Its a slow build up and will gather pace in the winter and come summer there will be an all out crisis. This was predicted around the time the Iraq problem was pulled out of the hat by the Bush dynasty. How long before they say that Al Qaida is in Iran? Do you think they have the nerve to carry out their threats and invade Iran.

Hi,  Well its simple really,  Iran has helped terrorists -maybe, does Iran have nuclear stuff - maybe,  but what it does have for sure (and Iraq for that matter) is ** OIL ** and the world supplies are starting to run out,  Bush is an oilman at heart and they all know the truth so they are starting to try and get their hands on it sooner rather than later.

Who can guess which country has encouraged more terrorists and been involved in more terrorism, has invaded more countries (including a British colony) than the others?  I bet Dom Tuk can.

I think qapmoc is right, but it looks like there is more to it than simply who has the oil. In 2000 or there abouts, Saddam insisted that the oil they were selling had to be traded in euros rather than dollars. Iran is currently putting together its own oil trading system that also uses euros and not dollars. The effect of this would be to remove a lot of dollars from circulation (and seriously strengthen the euro) and do very serious damage to a fairly flaky US economy.

It throws up loads of stuff that I've never seen mentioned before, pretty much all of which worries me for the future. If Iran gets invaded, it'll be made out by them to be a holy war and pretty soon it could be WWIII. Apparently all so that rich US industrialists get to keep their cash and get some more.

Not long after Bush, followed very quickly by Blair (God bless him or should that be 'them'?) made up with Iran - remember all that sickly media hype? - it was pretty blatant that Iran was next in The Plan to sort out the barbarian lands. Why the surprise now?

Just got back from America to visit family and can feel a distinct "siege" mentality. No one trusts Bush now, but life is getting so hard (inflation, high housing/petrol costs, increasing medical insurance costs, rising unemployment, increasing racial/ethnic tensions, etc..etc..) on a daily basis, that his warmongering will continue to go unchallenged. So yes, they totally have the nerve to engage Iran in all-out war.

Even a debate or friendly worded discussion on these issues would be refreshing! Had to listen to daily "Bush" sessions on the news for a week and it was torture. Getting information from that guy is like trying to squeeze lemon juice from a pile of rocks.
