Out for an early morning walk in the park. Was confronted with a clear plastic bag filled with dog dirt hanging from the lower branches of a tree!
There was a rubbish bin less than 20 feet away.
Someone has actually stopped and thrown the bag into the air.
What sort of a mentality do these morons have?
Exactly murray, i choose to have dogs and don't see why others should suffer for my choice - I always have poo bags on me, even when the dogs are not with me - I am in the office but open my handbag and there are some in there now!!
I think this 'habit' grew from some owners bagging it, and putting it on a tree branch to collect again on their return (saves carrying a bag of poo round the park), and for whatever reason it got forgotten.
I too hate this habit, IMO it's worse than actually leaving the poo on the floor- nothing says caring for the environment like wrapping biodgradable matter in a non degradable bag!
I dont understand the mentality of someone who goes to the trouble of picking it up but not bothering to put it in a bin. Most of the places I walk apart from in the forest have poo bins, you might have to carry it for a while but it's in a bag so what's the problem. If it's too distasteful for you to carry a bag of poo until you find a suitable bin then you shouldn't have a dog in the first place.
The bags were not 'thrown into the air' they just bag the poo and hang it onto the nearest tree rather than walking 10 ft to the bin. It's the same round our way, it looks like the trees are growing a crop of dog poo in plastic bags.
I find the worst offenders are terrier owners and people that walk their dogs late at night, I think its because the poos are smaller and late at night nobody knows who the culprit is.
I could never get away with it with my hounds, I f I left my dog poos lying around the council would need to put up road diversion signs!
How to blind people manage with their Guide Dog poos, or the elderly that cant bend over to pick up?
