Routine Foul Play And Time Wasting

We haven’t (quite) seen anything as bad as this :

... but we’ve seen just about every other variant on shirtpullinshortstugginelbowwavinfootstampnbodyslammin over the last few weeks - surely the whole point of the VAR is to stop all this crap?
And what about the routine stealing of a few yards with every throw-in or free-kick? Or the deliberate impeding of the taking of a free-kick by ‘just standing too close’ until forcibly removed bey the ref - where are the yellow cards for this nonsense?
And time wasting - how about a 10 second rule for ‘injuries’ - if you’re not back on your feet before the ref counts 10 then you have to be carried off for assessment - and stay off for five minutes unless substituted - I think Mr Neymar might suddenly start standing up a bit sooner?
Talking of substitutions - how about a rule that once your number is shown you can no longer touch the ball, but play restarts immediately - with your sub not allowed on until you leave the pitch - that should stop the extended ‘heroic limp’ exits?
