Musicals
I was watching the Broadway Musicals series with Julie Andrews (well not WITH her..!) and I suddenly realised that all musicals are american! Or made by Americans..! Are there any genuine British musicals that you know of? ("Oliver!" is, I believe..)

There have, of course, been plenty of British musicals, or musical comedies, going back over the last 100 years. Many of them very popular in their day (e.g. Chu Chin Chow). Too many to list them all here. It's maybe fair to say, though, that the American musicals of Rodgers and Hammerstein have held their popularity better than those of, say, Ivor Novello in Britain.
As Merthyr Imp points out, there have been plenty of British Musicals. This link might be of some interest:

One British musical I feel I have to plug is The Hired Man (Book & lyrics by Melvyn Bragg, Music by Howard Goodall). It's often described as "the English Les Mis". Unfortunately, the chances are you won't have heard of it, much less seen it but if you do ever get the chance to see a pro version you won't be disappointed.
