i want to have a tattoo of my daughters name, but i want it in chinese, however i have heard horror stories about people having them done and then when chinese people have seen them they have been told that they say something else!!! could anyone help point me to a useful resource? my daughter is called daisy.
My friend had one done in Chinese, so he went to a local Chinese Take-away where Chinese people work and asked them to write it down in Chinese for him, he then got the Tattooist to write it down (without showing him the original from the Take-away) before putting on him and he compared them. Hope this helps. Hope this helps.
Hi i study chinese. Chinese characters have meanings, and this is most important thing. however, when doing western names there are certain (almost) meaningless characters that are used just as sounds. so there is no definite translation, just make sure that the characters used have no negative meaning
