how do u understand this: race equality impact assessemnt of the policy on management of violence?

I understand it that I need to find out what influence the policy had on race equality.

am i right?

Do you work for the NHS? If so I think it may have something to do with how your trusts Management of Violence Policy, and how it is used hopefully equally across all races. The management of violence policy will include de-escalation, episodes of restraint or police involvement. Maybe a Race Equality Impact assessment, basically means an audit of the records involved in the Management of Violence Policy i.e Incident forms, to see if your Race Equality Policy has had any impact on incidents involving particular races.
