This is about as low as it gets. Horrendous. I doubt very much this abhorrent monster will reform in the slammer. I just hope he is not given a cosy ride in the nonce's wing. Let justice take it's course 'Prison style'

//Dr Bas Dreisinger, did a PhD looking at prisons all around the world, and she didn't find any correlation anywhere between tougher sentences and reduction of crime. // Unless she also found that more lenient sentences do result in a reduction of crime, I'd think I'd rather stick with the tougher ones. All things being equal, I think It's better to keep...

savage should never see the light of day again.
I tend to agree regarding the liklihood of any reformation. These people should be removed from society permanently. But that's no reason to treat them in a barbaric manner. That just makes us abhorrent monsters.
Scum. Will never be reformed, throw away the key.

No doubt to be out in 8 years though.
Yes, it should...what a scummy monster.

Definitely should be a life sentence.
Would a life sentence encourage these monsters to murder their victims?
Have this monsters victims been identified by the authorities? I hope as their mother(s) may be involved.
ian watkins rightly received 35 years for similar offences, why the vast discrepancy in sentencing?
"Would a life sentence encourage these monsters to murder their victims?"

Hmmm, so shorter sentencing hoping they dont murder, and hoping they dont do it again and again and again?

Should get the cheesewire out too if you ask me.
It's been proven around the world that increased sentences don't correlate with reduced crime.
Sorry I can’t read that article.

So what.
With a crime such as this, it should one strike and you're out.
Or more accurately, you're in...for ever.

//Sorry I can’t read that article.//

Because you cannot open the link or find this monster's action so abhorrent and stomach churning?
Leaving aside the usual self-righteous huffing and puffing where posters try and outdo each other as to who can be the most outraged, and the hardest about offering punishment -

In my view the sentence absolutely should be a life term with no parole or remission, but I am not party to the evidence, or the sentencing structure, so I have to remain deeply unhappy with it.
Get a really large broom handle and......
remove his testicles - and not chemically so
"So what."

Sorry i thought that was obvious... SO.. increased sentencing won't stop this vile behaviour happening.

Spath
What sentence would you give him for his crimes?
Retro cop. The second reason you have noted ,
That's not what i was discussing

But if i were to give my penny worth on what sentence i think he should get it would be 35 years.
