It was clearly unwise. An awful experience isn't completely negated just because the victim finds a way to apparently cope. Probably a case of thinking twice before speaking.

Omg chanel I am so sorry, that is absolutely horrific x

With regard to Streisand, she really needs to have a word with herself. How dare she imply that someone who is abused is in any way to blame, okay about it, shouldn't be making a fuss, it wasn't as bad as people are making out.
Men in particularly find abuse very hard to deal with, they feel when they are mature that they ought in some way to have been able to stop it and often feel to blame, and we don't need vacuous self absorbed bints like Streisand reinforcing that feeling. A little boy has the right to be safe, to have his parents act in the way that serves him best and keeps him secure, Michael Jackson's sexual needs were nothing to take into account and it's morally repugnant that Streisand thinks there were.

that's awful chanel5.
bet she would not have said what she did, if it were one of her granchildren...silly moo
Is the same Michael Jackson that has never been convicted of abuse?

People are basing opinions on a Netflix documentary fer christ's sake.

IF MJ abused those kids then he's a despicable scumbag, but the fact of the matter is we will never know.
The point here, deskdiary, is that Barbara said she believes that MJ abused those men when they were boys but still made those comments.
she's apologised, as well she might.

I've noticed that people don't always think things right through before speaking - even before the age of Twitter, they didn't - but it isn't necessarily a sign of dolalliness.
// but the fact of the matter is we will never know. //

Does that make the men who say they were, liars? Does that mean Saville was innocent?

Going doolally?? Been gone for years. Just like the rest of Holyweird.
Difference being, Togo, is that MJ was brought to trial and found not guilty, whereas Saville was never brought to trial (because he was protected by the BBC - but that's probably for another thread).
She has confirmed he was a kiddy fiddler.

I can't believe the likes of Deskdiary still have any doubts.

jacko got off because paid off the families and they did not testify. Why would he pay them off if he was not guilty?
^^^because I have the outrageous belief of innocent until proven guilty.
Why did Ronaldo pay off that gold digger if he was innocent?
Question Author
yep, remarkable hoppy, that anyone can possibly think he was innocent.

He wasn't brought to trial for all the accusations and the trial was a sham.
And don't you think Jackson was protected?

DD 17:25 - I'd normally agree with you but this case is obviously a case of the bloke being rich enough to bribe the families and the families being shallow enough to accept the dosh.
Before this goes totally off what Barbra said, I will add my voice.

It strikes me that those in the public eye (and not of course ) have an inbuilt fear of answering a query with 'I don't know' or words to that effect - unless you were involved in what went on that is the only fair reply to give.

Otherwise it's pure conjecture.

Chanel, I am so very glad you got rid of that excuse of a man.
I will be more likely to believe Ronaldo is a rapist if he carries on paying more and more women hush-money.

As it is right now, there is just one.
The term stems from "Deolali", 3Ts. It is the site in central India of a British Army transit camp that was use throughout the Raj. It's also where the Royal Artillery's concert party (Sergeant-Major "Shut Up" and his lovely boys) was stationed in "It Ain't Half Hot Mum!"

The term "Doolally" came about because the poor conditions in the camp led to a number of servicemen who were stationed there for long periods developing signs of mental illness. They were said to suffer from "Dollally Tap" and this was a contraction of the term "Deolali Tapa" ("tapa" being a fever)

Only saying because I have no interest in either Ms Streisand or the late Mr Jackson. :-)
