.................will be a big plus for Labour. Johnsons' buffoonery, irreverence and mickey taking when being questioned, will work very much in Labours' favour. If Tory party members think he will decimate Corbyn at PMQ's, this is where BoJo will show himself up and anything thrown at Corbyn will just have no effect. He's a disgrace anyway.

//He's a disgrace anyway.// Corbyn ?
I think bojo will hold his own at PMQ's there is a very intelligent man under that mop of hair, which he's just had cut.
If Boris will work very much in Labours' favour, how is it that Labour is so scared of him becoming our next PM?

One would think that they should be rejoicing and encouraging the possibility, in their continuous quest at seeing the demise of the Tory Party.
Yeah but corbyn would be just as bad for the job. They are both a major cause for concern...
The truly sad thing is that we'll have Johnson V Corbyn. Such is the dire state of both parties.
It's actually dire.. Absolutely dire. These people do nott represent the UK.
We can but hope its all been a scam and once elected Boris will emerge like a butterfly from his pupa and suddenly become serious, intelligible and worthy of the job.
Don't despair.
He was elected Mayor of London twice and decided not to stand for a third term.
And got crime down so if he could do that across the country ...

I hope (and think) that Boris has served his long apprenticeship. If I'm wrong, we're pretty well sunk!. Please think of the transformation of Prince Hal (Henry 1V pt.2)into King Henry 5th. My hopes are pinned on that sort of change and I think I may be right in thinking that Boris has decided, at long last, to be serious (how old is he now?). If, I repeat 'If', he has, then he could become a formidable leader. I am just crossing my fingers - otherwise the Brexit Party will triumph. No particular objection to that, but they have no other policy, so a sensible Boris would be best.
//These people do nott represent the UK.//

But very obviously they do. They have both been elected as MPs and have both been (or will soon be in BoJo's case) elected as leaders of their party under the prevailing rules.
I wouldn't let Corbyn help an old person cross the road, let alone run a government. He looks very labour by being scruffy until he returns to his London house.
Are Labour people generally scruffy, TonyV?
Mandelson isn't, but who hears of him these days?
I can’t think of any scruffy Labour MPs. How does Corbyn scrub up at his London home?

// These people do nott(sic) represent the UK //
No Clover just my view of the man, sometimes he likes to dress down, other times he might put a suit on, but either way I will never vote labour while he is the leader.
Scruffy as an adjective does not necessarily mean how they look, or choose to turn themselves out visually. It has other connotations. Ergo their shoddy demeanor in all things, or disreputable allies. Cob is no doubt "scruffy", but a carefully constructed scruffy. All the better to attract the sloveny and "needy".
Togo I agree its all about the persona you want to show.
Togo, I can’t think of any Lab MPs who fit your definition of scruffy.
I have always been a Labour supporter but am neither slovenly nor needy.
Ahhh the sweet smell of Clover. Do you mean or, or nor? Don't get sloppy now......or linguistically scruffy. (^_*)
