Friday. Some welcome rain during the night, but not enough. Fussy, ain't I! 0440 and the temperature is already 27°C. A toddle over to Wotton-under-Edge today methinks, one ore two bibs and bobs I can't get locally. Visit my favourite bakery, there are four in Wotton, all on the main street and all do a roaring trade. To the hospice on the way back. After that the joys on Mount Ironing. Oh great joy!

Morning Boaty. Lovely and fresh here at the moment, so I've opened the bifolds to get as much cool air in the house as possible. Then I'll be closing them right back up again.
I was on Mount Ironing for 2 hours yesterday morning, that was a joy!

Morning all....a little cooler this morning down here, my guess around 21 - still humid though.

Needed two baths/hairwashes yesterday after I took on the rest of the strimming of the paths in the fields - got that done though I am suspicious the one around the wood needs doing and then there's the orchard....no rest for the wicked. Otherwise, I need to get my tax numbers in order, always like to have them in and gone by my birthday, the mater's having been filed already.

We were promised storms yesterday but they passed us by so still humid and warm here. Trip to Rubery later to see what the mini garden centre has in stock. Then sitting in friends garden wot I made drinking tea.
