okay, I am curious about kisses and such. there is french kissing, but I am curious about the other type of kiss.
the one that doesnt involve sticking your bloody tongue down the other persons throat.
a more sensual, simple kiss.
I've only been kissed a few times in my life, all have been tongue kisses.
can any of you elaborate on what other types of kisses there are, and how it's done? :) (you dont have to go into explicit detail or anything, let's not get vulgar)

Watch any episode of "Friends"!! They always have someone kissing someone else in a romantic way, but don't have tongues (yuck) 'cos of the time of day it has to be shown!!

Some kisses don't even use lips!

An eskimo kiss is when two people rub noses together and one I like is a butterfly kiss when you put your eye close enough to someone else's eyes that when you blink your eyelashes rub together!!

I am not a huge fan of tonsil tennis either! As someone who's tongue is fastened too far forward in the mouth, I am denied the 'luxery' of pushing my tonuge down someone's throat, and it has been verbally appreciated more than oncce, which suggests that the notion of pushing equals passion may be a little wide of the mark.

When kissing a lady i didn't know, I would always be very soft and gentle, taking my lead from her as to how much presure to apply. I also find licking the lips of a partner very gently and softly with the tip olf my tongue is very sensual - there are lots of ways of kissing which don't involve any behaviour bordering on personal invasion - gentle and soft is usually nicer for all concerned, unless in the heat of passion, in which case, follow your instincts!

To give someone a simple lip to lip kiss can be called a peck. That is what you normally do. A tonge kiss is usually a snog.

I presume you're female?

If so, and please don't take this the wrong way, why not practise with a friend? (either male or female - usually females are more willing to assist as they are on the receiving end and have the same issues as you)

a gentle, warm, caressing kiss can be non-erotic if you imagine you are actors playing a scene.

choose a film kiss (from your fav movie) and try it out...

lets not count the ways of kissing, generally they all require the touching of lips, but even the most simple kiss can lead to a deeper, more prolonged exploration.

JUST DON'T FORGET TO BREATHE !
