Difference Between Grams And Ml
17 Answers
Without getting too complicated just wondering what is the difference between 25g and 22ml.
I know they shouldn't be comparable as one is for liquid and other for other stuff.
Only just noticed that little pots of glitter(I use for crafting) come in either grams or ml.
I am a little confused.

As said above, it depends on the density of the substance to get the right conversion rate.

There is no requirement for using (milli)litres to measure only liquids:

ans 1 gets it right
but Jim is a physicist
one is a volume (ml) like pints
and the other is a weight ( g ) like tons
actually it is a mass but what the hell this is AB
they are only identical if you are using water or any other liquid with a density / SG of one.
so 100ml of pure alcohol will NOT weigh 100g (around 90 I think)
and 100 ml of mercury ( stuff you find in thermometers) will weight around 1 1/2 kg - density 13.6
You are confused because of imperial measure - where the two are hopelessly confused ounce - weight
fluid oz - vol AND the imperial one is a different vol to the US fl oz
no wonder we use metric
