Just after having my first ever Zoom meeting with a friend in Wales. Isn't technology amazing!
Something very exciting this evening, hopefully (no, nothing like that. tut.). I will update you all tomorrow.

we have ours twice a week Ellie, there's 8 of us and we have a family quiz and a good laugh
Question Author
excitement in lockdown???
mmmm thinks :o)
Bobbi, we're having another one next week with 3 other friends as it's one of their birthdays. Today was a trial to see how well it worked
Question Author
It's really good, we have been doing it for about two months now
I've not decided on my evening meal yet. (Buenchico carefully avoids the tea/dinner/supper arguments here!). Earlier on today I got two lovely sea bream fillets from the fish van that calls down the road on Fridays. I had one for my lunch, so I'll probably save the other one for tomorrow - but I might just have it this evening instead.

I'm toying with the idea of nipping along to the local farm shop though, to treat myself to a few frozen meals from the wonderful 'Cook' range:
https://www.cookfood.net/menu/main-meals/meals-for-1
I might then have one of them this evening. (Weighing up the risk of going shopping, when I'm meant to be 'sheltering', is always a bit tricky though).

. . .or I could just see what I've got left in the freezer to make a casserole. I don't think that I'll starve anyway!

[Actually, a bit of short-term 'starvation' probably wouldn't do me any harm. On my last visit to the hospital, they discovered that I'd put on 5 kilos in just weeks!].
^^^ Typo! "in just three weeks"

yeah, Freezer Bingo is always good Chris
Fish cakes on the menu...cod, prawns, sweet potato, spring onions. Creamed spinach with them. Maybe a homemade brownie after.

I wonder if Zacs is getting a new family member...I hope he is!
Question Author
I hope that's good Chris, means they're tackling your cancer (fingers crossed)
They’re having peri peri chicken, potato lattices and sweetcorn - haven’t decided what I’m having yet. This week has been the hardest one yet, definitely hit some sort of wall. Got some sellotape, blue tack and spaghetti and I’m going to set the three youngest some sort of building task tomorrow (probably be girl against the things).
Question Author
oh yes Pasta, I hope so too
My problem with freezer bingo, Bobbi, is that there aren't that many numbers left on my bingo card! It's 10 weeks since I last shopped in a supermarket and I'm running out of stuff!
Question Author
chin up Sherr, your'e doing an amazing job, all you working Mums are
>>> means they're tackling your cancer

I'll just die of obesity instead!

;-)
I don't know if I've ever had sea bream...wish we had a fish van here. :(
Could the weight gain be from medication Chris?
...or just lockdown?
>>> Got some sellotape, blue tack and spaghetti

That would make an interesting bag of goodies on Ready, Steady, Cook ;-)
Hey Bobbi, no rain here but horrible weather, chilly and dank.
I've got lamb leg steaks marinating in mint sauce which I will be having cauliflower cheese, diced potato/parsnip/ sweet potato crisped up in oven and sweet corn.
As for the weekend, nothing planned except for partaking of alcohol.
My husband bought some burgers in the week. I'll do him some, but I don't like them too often. Had some last week. So will find something else. Not sure what yet.
