Sin city ending-what the hell!

Can anyone please explain what the significance of the ending of Sin city is. And also what is the significance of all the colours. What a wierd film (why doesn't anyone die after they've been **** like 50 times!)

No what you mean.Am afraid i cant explain the wierd ending to sin city, but to be honest i only watched it because Jessica Alba was in it!!! The one with the whip.

Thats the "working girl" who betrayed the others. The "doctor" who gets in the lift with her is the guy from the very start, and is "The Man" a hired killer

The colours are taken direct from the graphic novel by Frank Miller (also cameoed as the confessional priest) Thats just the style of the book

And people die all the time in the film. Marv though is a different story...but hes the exception..and isnt really your normal average human being.

Hartigan (bruce Willis) gets shot a few times, but not in vital areas.

Cracking film. Sin CIty 2 is in pre-production now as well

The ending is as Jack says.

The limited colours and the fact people do not die so much despite the hidings they get is because it is adapted from a comic. It is in keeping with the graphic novel effect.

I feel they made a great job of the film. I'd like them to make Watchmen next.

i watched a preview clip of this film before it was released from comicon (comic book convention) and the comparison between book and film is amazing.for real sin city fans the attention to detail must be superb.

Thanx for that guys now it's all clear I didn't realize he was a hit man and i did wonder why he wasn't in it much. Now it's clear. I probably should read the books to appreciate it more. And come to think of it a lot of people did die, it was just a bit wierd that someone could go through all that and not die (and Bruce Willis ended up killing himself anyway! ha)
