It has with me although I'd never go beyond my means for anything and yes I'd rather be giving it to our shops but the Metro Centre is a Ghost town, very sad to see ( daughter said) in fact she came out of M&S and walked down an empty mall , saw a security guard and almost said " it's okay up there" ;0)

You can't knock him off his success Jno
I'm not sure if it's the buying...or the receiving. It's rather nice to get a knock on the door and some nice delivery person hands me a package.
That reminds me...I need to order cat litter ;)

Pasta it when a neighbour says to your daughter " Your Mum gets plenty deliveries" when he was in for treatment at the practice she works at, she nods, smiles and agrees, but doesn't say half is for her as she can no longer have them sent to her workplace through Covid :0/
I've bought loads of stuff. I wouldn't say it gives me a lift though.
I never shop online Bobbs, so can't say ! Like looking round the shops (when I can).

Hi Burley I think it'll be manic on those pre Christmas days and when he announces the tier system although I've a feeling we'll go into tier 3 from 2 this time
We were 3 last time, pretty certain we will be again ! Good job the supermarkets have a good selection of Christmas stuff ..
I don't know about a lift but I do enjoy looking at all sorts of different stuff. There is an expensive beautiful winter Wrap I've been fighting the urge to buy for a couple of weeks now. Having already enough for my needs it would be an extravagance but Oh Boy I do love it.
Question Author
Just do it LB, we need to feel the love haha

Burley ive never been out to a supermarket of shop for almost 3 weeks, we did take little legs a nice long walk a week ago to a local jewellers ( he wasn't officially open ) but allowed us in, other than that, nowhere , our friend Michael dying from this awful disease has knocked my confidence a bit
I enjoy receiving orders, always a little aprehensive with the size of clothes and shoes, so I always make sure returns are free.
I have bought nearly everything online for years - not all from Amazon and big stores. I have made major purchases (over £1k each) from very small, independent shops that I suppose are local to somebody, just not me.
Amazon isn't the cheapest for everything, all the time.

Too often I have found something I want in a shop only to be told they don't carry my size, or the colour I want, or the particular model in store and to order it online.
Question Author
I've never bought clothing or shoes online
Any reason why, bobbi?

I guess I enjoyed trying before buying Barry ,for example my foot size can be a 5,5.5 or a 6 depending on the make
I don't buy that much on line but when I do, it definitely gives me a lift. :-)
//yeah, I just love helping Jeff Bezos towards his first trillion//

150 billion

Long way to go yet to get to that thousand billion jno
but keep contributing
:-(
I bought 2 lovely tops after you recommended Roman Originals Bobbi, thought you had bought from them.

I get a lift when I track down something I've been after for a while or something I have been watching gets reduced.
I think so. Every month I decide to cut down on Amazon... but continue anyway. It's like Christmas when it all arrives... especially as I have usually forgotten what I bought by then.
