Clapping For Sir Tom
81 Answers
Boris would like us all to clap for Sir Tom tonight at 6pm.
Much as I admire what he did, and think the amount he helped raise was phenomenal, I won’t be, as I think it’s pointless. The poor old chap is dead, the only people who will hear the claps are those within range.
Will you?

Sir Tom was no doubt a fantastic person (I didn't know him) but what possible use could there be in clapping for him now that he's dead? The point about making a donation to a medical charity instead is well made.
