I absolutely love heavier women and the girl I'm dating is 80 pounds (about 37 kilos) heavier than me. My family and friends are consistently making fun of us. They're making fun of the fact she is 6 years older than me and has a kid and they're making fun of the fact she is so much heavier than me. They're calling her "a fridge", "a whale", "a cow", "Cougar", and they're calling me "the fridge ***" and "MILF hunter" and "the cub". I've tried telling them it bothers me and asking them to stop, but they won't stop and it really upsets me because I love my girlfriend so much and it hurts me to hear these things. It doesn't seem to bother my girlfriend, if it does she has lied and told me it doesn't. It just bothers me to hear people close to me talk about my girlfriend like that.

Sounds like you have some veritable a-holes in your inner circle. Personally, If be telling them all to f-off with their abuse as the most important thing to you is that you and your girlfriend are happy, and if your happiness isn't enough for them to accept your girlfriend, they should remove themselves from your life. You don't need the toxicity of their fake friendships.
