morning everyone, i hope that you are well and in good spirits, despite the England loss last night. I didn't watch it after all, too nerve racking i guess. I had a lovely lunch at friends house yesterday, good conversation and the wine i took went down well. I doubt if i will be out and about today as i am still waiting for a courier who should have showed up Friday, which is a pain.
will phone the outlet to see if they can send me replacements for the items, though i don't hold out much hope.
I'm still wide wake (when I really ought to be in bed), as usual. I'm just off to the corner shop now, to buy some milk and (if they sell it) some de-caff coffee. Back soon!
The weather is rather dull, grey and sounds like its raining, but its early and as with our weather anything can happen. I see that Djokovic won yesterday, don't know why but i can't warm to him, great player that he undoubtedly is.
There are a few spots of rain around here, which was enough for me to drive the half a mile to the shop, rather than to walk there.
There's a yellow weather warning for rain, covering both your area and mine, from the Met Office for later today: https://ibb.co/LdwCVgy
If you're going out, it might be best to go early!
doubt it chris, i was out most of yesterday and have no particular reason for going out today. I think its still raining, i have already been drenched once i am not about to repeat it if i can help it.
Morning Chris and Emmie.
Hopefully we will get some rain today.
I harvested all my shallot yesterday and my first batch of green beans, left me with a large patch to fill.
Other than that the usual as it’s a bank holiday today
boaty is fine apparently, he wanted to have some down time from social media so i have taken over for a time, until he decides its time to come back...
