Babies

Had to bring Maxie to vets yesterday for his annual jags. Anyway there is a local park nearby and I brought him to go to the toilet before going into vets. A mother and her son were there (park) and the little boy was simply marvellous on his wee scooter. When he got to a tiny incline he knew to put both his feet on the board and whizzed down - when I looked at him I knew he was just a baby - mother said he was 1 year and 10 months. Another lady passed by and she remarked too.

Aren't babies great - I simply love them. Haven't seen my great nephew yet since he was born and they live about 3 miles away but they are fanatic re the Covid so pictures have to do me. But I believe he is just a bundle of fun. He looks a wee character. No question just a thought.

oh I know that - many friends grandchildren all took a personality transplant - cheeky and disrespectful and unappreciative towards the grandparents too - can't tolerate the disrespect - wanna bang their heads together.

Now some of the g'children after really getting a wonderful childhood and memories with g'parents actually don't ever visit the g'parents at all.

I love dogs more than babies. But I appreciate I'm in the minority! ;0)). I loved my own baby of course!! I do like children though all the growing up stages.

I love them too, but holding someone's baby leaves me a nervous wreck in case i drop it.

I love babies and children especially girls 'cos you can be really girly with them and I love that my granddaughters love the things I love.
Never had a son but do have 1 Grandson who grew a different head when he started secondary school and I'm afraid I don't have a lot in common with him, but I love him to pieces.

Hi Barsel. I relate better to boys than girls. I have a son. I worked in schools for 10 years with kids aged 4 to 16. The boys were so much easier than the girls!! Boys are much more straightforward, girls can be very devious!! But they were all mostly good fun.

I don't have grandchildren and doubt I ever will. But I have a grand dog (my son's). I never have wished for grandchildren.

Lottie, I always wanted children, bit must admit I never thought about grandchildren.
My cousin once said to me 'Oh wait until you have grandchildren, you will love them even more.'
Don't know if I love them more, but definitely love them as much.

I adore babies, my favourite spots for a nuzzle are the nape of the neck,their pudgy knees and little feet.

I delight when they reach the stage of mirroring your facial expression, just wondrous.

The great thing is that with Grandchildren you have more time.
