Good morning to all who respond.

1. I'm still breathing.
2. The reservoirs must be nearly full and ready for next summer's visitors. We have had so much rain in the past few days.
3. Might go and get some last mint bits from Marks today. Only 20 miles away so hope the lanes aren't too busy. Last time was so busy with large tractors and trailers and Christmas veg.

they, the S-West water mob are still ranting fire and brimstone down here about their reservoir levels being too low.....

I'm off to Fraddon to the M&S there for a raid, my sister having emailed me one of their e-gift cards for food...and a three figure sum too....

Sounds good DT. That's a lovely generous gift. I don't really need to get much at all but feeling a bit stir crazy as icy lane is a bit of a no-no. At least the rain is manageable.
I am fit and well
About to start a new career
Have a lovely husband who supported my career break
Have a lovely step family
1. Still breathing
2. I have a husband and a son I love in a way I can't put into words.
3. It's my colleague's turn to buy the lattes
4. Santa is coming at the end of the week
5. Only a month until my birthday
Good luck with the career - in what field?

Well at least the ice should be long gone now......driving last night was still awkward, this time the amount of water around, so take care out there. I guess Hayle is your nearest store?
DTC another government department, I won’t put it up here as someone like to write to my bosses, but those on my Facebook will know shortly
RTBC, I have many , I’m rich ,with a loving husband and family, I love having the time to do all those things I couldn’t when I worked, I have a very active social life with many friends of different ages , I love Christmas and all it brings , yep, I have a lot of RTBC :0)
You have a lovely life by the sound of it, Bobbi.
Oh if you want another reason to be cheerful, you should listen to Jackanory read by Tom Hardy it makes wonderful listening
I’ve lots of reasons to be content but I’m not in competition with anyone or trying to impress so I won’t boast about them. Suffice to say the dogs didn’t wake us up at stupid o’clock today for a change so I’m very cheerful. Result!
People that know me , know I have Lcg, the ones that don’t are insignificant anyway ;0)
I bet Miles is getting quite excited now?
LJ,I’ll ring you tomorrow x
He's really getting into it. He knows Santa is coming on the 24th.

He asked for "window 19" this morning from his Advent Calendar.
Aww I kinda miss all of that ;0) B . Making a gingerbread house with Grandad , one year they just finished it and it collapsed like a pack of cards , the look on his little face , ahhhh

Look forward to it Bobbi.

I've nothing planned for Christmas apart from being warm and having enough to eat and drink. Freezer is fairly full and as I don't drink alcohol have plenty of other choices. No frightening health worries. So yes I have every reason to be cheerful.
That’s sound lovely LJ,I’m out on Wednesday with friends where we will exchange a small gift, our local is a food free house so we’re allowed to have a small buffet that we’ll do ourselves, Christmas jumpers are the dress code of the afternoon , it should be fun
Ive managed to do some tidying upstairs and get downstairs without breaking my neck. (I'm on my own today). The last of the family's presents have arrived and I only have those to wrap. My daughter feared she was 'coming down with something' and the something hasn't materialised.

Hope it stays that way Roo. I have a cold that seems to be hanging around but so what. It'll go in the end.
Thank, Ladyj, these colds and coughs are hanging around for such a long time. So far kept relatively clear of that sort of thing (fingers tightly crossed). Hope you are completely well soon.

Thank you Roo.
Another reason to be so very cheerful is that I heard that one of my grand s-ls is hopefully free of cancer. I pray it never comes back. They have a little boy aged 2 1/2. And so with this news I am especially happy.
Sitting in my daughter's cosy little lounge with a warm cat on my lap
I expect a lovely homemade meal later with some wine and good conversation.
2 more days and the days will start getting longer...whoo hoo!
