I Believe In Christmas Miracles
13 Answers
I am still working. I shall be until midnight
Mr BM has, however, cleaned the dining room and living room. Including getting the wax out and properly waxing the furniture that needed it. It looks amazing in those two rooms. Those are two massive things I do not have to do.
He's not very domesticated (but very good outside) and I normally do this stuff. Nice when your OH really steps up to support you without being asked.
Christmas is now looking distinctly possible.
What miracles have you had - or would you like to have?

And initially, they will be in a harness and on a lead so I can try and teach them about the nasty road and the nasty dogs. (One of them is a psycho and will care not. The other is far more circumspect). But I shall try.
This is a lovely place for them though - we have a massive garden and loads of trees and so much better than a city. We have open fields behind us, but I need to get them to learn not to stray too far and that here is a safe place.
Even with road sense, accidents happen. We are now fairly certain after what we have been told that ASBO was killed by a cyclist (he ran away from cars, but you do not hear the fast road bikes).
And Mr BM is all mine!!!!!

I would just like to get better, but it feels now like I need a miracle. But Mr T has proved to be brilliant looking after me so that I feel very lucky. He too is an outside very manly man. I know he would love to be out chopping wood or mending things.there rather than a full time carer, cook, cleaner dog walker. etc etc. But he's not moaned once. Happy Christmas Barmaid.
And Im done. (Well save for a small job in the morning).
RH, I wish your friends a happy resolution.
Rowan, i do sympathise. My darling grandad had dementia and drove us all a bit potty. But a wise person encouraged me to remember that he may not know who i was, but i knew who he was. Having said that, frustration was a common thing! I wish you peace and the ability to only say "For Funks Sake" in your head!!!

Yes i know, Pasta. My previous cats have been done at 6 months. Ive said these two will be done asap after 6 months.
They had traumatic start to life. The only constant thing each of them knows is the other. They will need to be separated for a wee while after the op because they groom each other. So I am now starting to keep them apart for short periods so the whole thing is not too stressful for them. Breaks my heart how they cry for each other. Although one now cries for me if I'm behind a closed door.
