Dogs.

going up to Manchester yesterday morning, daughter who was driving let out a yell. I asked her what was that for, she said she had just seen 2 cocker spaniels on the hard shoulder just before the Nantwich/ Crewe turnoff.
She loves animals so got very upset that they would be hurt. Not knowing who else to phone she rang the police. They were very helpful and said they would deal with it.
Later in the day when we were coming home there were lots of signs saying
Animals on carriageway. This went on for miles and miles. We never saw any animals though.
Out of curiosity I investigated. On line there were reports of dogs and goats
On the motorway. I wondered if they were the same dogs.

Couldn't find an owner and not being able to keep it he asked his girlfriend's mother to take it. She did willingly though nearly had second thoughts when at Christmas it jumped through the Christmas tree...stripped it of decorations and ran off wrapped in the fairy lights. :-)
