Gaelic is only spoken daily in Gaeltacht areas. Of those you have mentioned I think Cashel is the only Gaeltacht village.

As a general rule, the further west you go in Ireland, the more likely you are to find the Irish language being spoken. From the website of the Irish Central Statistics Office: https:/ /i.post img.cc/ fbtwywk x/Gaeli c.jpg
However the areas where Irish is officially recognised as the predominant language (collectively known as the Gaeltacht) comprise just 2% of the country's population and are almost exclusively found around the coast:

I've known that happen in a pub in N. Wales about 20 yrs. ago to me and a friend, Barry. It also happened to a friend of my daughter's who took her grandad out. The locals immediately switched to Welsh and were being very rude and joking about the old man. Their tune changed when his granddaughter flew at them telling them off in ripe Welsh this was also N. Wales.
