Welcome to The Answerbank, Full265. The timings of your posts suggest that you might well be in the USA.  (This site is UK-based).  To the best of my knowledge, the US term 'preppy' hasn't made it over to this side of the Atlantic yet.  So most people here are likely to be left somewhat baffled by your question!

You might care to note, Full265, that the UK has a completely different education system to that in the USA, so the original derivation of 'preppy' (from 'preparatory') is meaningless to us. 

Further, wallpaper (of any type) seems to be very much out of fashion here when it comes to decorating the interiors of people's homes, with plain painted walls generally being favoured.
