I know. I know, we hear it all the time. I genuinely think that some people feel they have a right to be insulted or upset about anything they choose. Even this OP, I should think. 😊

I very much dislike this trend of labeling everyone and everything.

There has always been people actively campaigning against things that offend them, or they believe to be wrong.

We have certainly always had people of all ages without categorising as gen this or that, causing division.

Why can't we just listen to what people have to say without labelling them?

“Nobody has the right to not be offended. That right doesn't exist in any declaration I have ever read.

If you are offended it is your problem, and frankly lots of things offend lots of people."
[ - Salman Rushdie ]

Stephen Fry summed it up succinctly  - "I've offended you? Tough!!"

I  have suspended 10ClarionSt for 48 hrs for his vile post on the Baltimore Bridge Disaster - I know another moderator deleted that post, but that was not enough punishment for such a terrible post.

I am also closing this thread which is 10ClarionSt moaning about the deleteion of his previous thread.
